| hey guys, I'm back in America, but this time its the top half not the bottom half. Our family took off 3 days after I got home from Belize for our annual fall vacation. So I didn't have much time to recover. We are in Alberta, tonight:in a little town surrounded by the Canadian Rockies. The scenery we saw today was truly amazing, wow! Not only are the mountains breathtaking but throw the yellow trees in the picture yet and my...............very nice. Autumn is a good time to travel. anywayz, lots more I could write...........but alas I am very tired..............its been very cool to have my sis home again. Oh and last but not least..........it would be neat if Tim Hortons would migrate south! We have been visiting it rather frequently on this trip. very good! what a random post, this is, I just reactivated myself on facebook if any of you are on there. adious............. | | |
| last weekend our youth group went camping......................
...........at a very nice place...............my heart was happy to be surrounded by such raw beauty! And have I mentioned how much I LOVE Colorado..............anywayz, don't get me started.
The unfortunate part was that no sooner had we got there when it started to rain.............. and it continued on and off all weekend. I was thankful for my rain coat but their were others who were not so fortunate.
we tended to migrate here when it did start to rain, and there was also many wonderful meals spread out under that tarp. The ladies did good preparing the food for us...........
.........and the guys for that matter............wow, bacon @ camp is really the best! mmmhhhh...........
Saturday morning after eating a big breakfast we set out on a hike...........sad to say my first real hike this year(except for Thailand, I forgot).
  
It was about 3 miles to the lake.........the wildflowers were nice
 
the guys amused themselves with throwing rocks into the lake, and pushing and shoving rocks into the lake, etc, etc...........
it was cool to have Matts there.........they made it more fun for us
my bro and his wife, Ryan and Justina
good times with cousins and banana peels...........
my sis and I................speaking of sisters.......Karla is coming home in a couple months........I am very excited about this, cannot wait!

well after this lengthy post, I should really get busy and start sewing. Mom is traveling to a funeral so Ash and i get the privilege of cooking, etc. Tonight we shall have sweet corn...mmhh.......I found a recipe to grill it so maybe I'll try it, don't know if I know how to run the grill or not.

father-daughter quality time......... :) we rode up to the Canyon and did the hike up there......I think my dad is pretty cool, just between you and me.
